Among many leadership positions, Jamira is the Mayor’s Appointee and Chairwoman of the Philadelphia Youth Commission and the Vice President of the SEPTA Youth Advisory Council.
BUT WAIT! Jamira is currently a finalist to be the Keynote Speaker at this year’s Campus Progress National Convention! She’d be representing college students in Philly and around the country on a stage previously graced by Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, The Daily Show’s John Oliver, John Lewis, Van Jones, Samantha Power, Ryan Gosling, and many others.
